MIRAGE KHAN MAKES FIRST DEFENSE OF HIS WBC ASIA STRAP

24 Sep 2018

Monday, September 24th: Singapore’s leading boxing promotion, Roar of Singapore, returns this coming Saturday the 29th in the city state.

The entire show is stacked with many mouth-watering encounters, and one that grabs our immediate attention is the first title defense for Malaysian fighter, Mirage Khan, of his WBC Asia light-heavyweight continental championship title.

The man who will square off against Khan for this contest is Thailand’s Natthawut Masamin, a fighter going into this bout with a professional fight record of seven wins and three losses since making his debut back in 2014.

The champion Khan, with eight victories, two losses and and a draw since he turned to the pro ranks in 2010 is a tricky and confident boxer looking to stamp his authority in the light-heavyweight division in Asia.

Khan became the continental champion back in April of this year when he defeated New Zealand pugilist Chase Haley, via a unanimous points decision, after ten hard fought rounds of boxing action.

On behalf of WBC Asia President Pol. General Kovid Bhakdibhumi, WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman, and the entire Asian Boxing Council team we wish both fighters the best of luck for their impending showdown.
