MALSYSIA’S HAFIDZ GETS HIS HANDS ON WBC ASIA GLORY

This past weekend in the southern tip of Malaysia saw professional boxing make its grand entrance with some top-class pugilistic action in the city of Johor and it was a hometown favorite who shone bright to the delight of the local crowd. 

Malaysia’s Adli Hafidz, scored a 5th round TKO victory over Indonesian pugilist, Bambang Rusiadi, to capture the vacant WBC Asia Silver super-middleweight title. With this important victory for Hafidz, he improves his professional record to six wins from six outings, whilst Rusiadi drops his first loss in his last four fights.

The contest took place, yesterday, March 23rd, at the Daiman Sport Complex, in Johor, Malaysia.
