It was a story of success this weekend at the Anshun Olympic Center in Guiyang, China, as three new WBC Asia champions were crowned.

China’s Lingjie Xia became the new WBC Asia Continental lightweight champion, when he defeated Thailand’s Attanon Kunlawong, via a 1st round KO victory.

Another Chinese pugilist, Bin Zhou, became the new WBC Asia Continental super-flyweight champion after he outgunned Filipino boxer Roland Jay Biendima, via a unanimous points decision.

Yongchao Sheng made it a clean sweep for Chinese boxers as he stopped Indonesia’s Ricky Manufoe — in the 3rd round of their encounter — to claim the interim WBC Asia Continental super-featherweight title.

On behalf of the WBC Asian Boxing Council President, Pol. General Kovid Bhakdibhumi, and the entire team at the WBC Asia, we would like to congratulate the winners on their night of success.
