Thong Won a Pride Victory in Buriram, his own hometown.

April 18, 2008 in Burirum province in the north east of Thailand. Thong Por successfully defending his ABCO Super Featherweight Champion, he gracefully gained his victory over Doi Nobuhisa, Japanese challenger who came with high confidence and absolute no fear to the champion at all. Referee asked for a medical advise from Dr. Kamthorn, WBC ring doctor which the fight still carried on with toe to toe war. Round 4, Thong did not allow the challenger to walk away with his crown.
Thong defeats Doi TKO at 1.07 m of round 4, the challenger was saved by Chainart, referee who made a very good decision from any serious injuries.
The accidental head butt was happened almost the last minute of round 2 and Thong also was given a point deduction on the third round when he tried to approach for a body shot again.
Thong said he can hardly lost this fight because this is the first defense in Burirum which is his home town all amongst many of his fans and relatives.
Napapol fights under card and gained his victory again over Eval Bone, Indonesian boxer with scores at 8-round contest.
