WBC Asia's Super Bantamweight Championship title returned back to Thailand when Tabtimdaeng Na Rachawat won a hard-fought points decision against Philippines defending champion Ariel Delgada in Ayudhaya on 22 April.
Two judges awarded the Asian Boxing Council championship to Tabtimdaeng 115-113, while the third judge scored the contest a draw 114-114.
The fight was even after eight rounds with the scores equal at 76-76, but Tabtimdaeng finished stronger than Delgada in front of a cheering crowd at Ayudhaya Park.
Early in the contest Tabtimdaeng troubled Delgada with hard straight punches to the face and opened a cut on the champions face in the sixth round forcing him to go on the defensive for the latter stages of the contest.
Tabtimdeeng reached deep into his reserves to outscore Delgada in the closing rounds to record a well-earned victory.
