Thailand's new female boxing star Kanistha has won the WBC Asia (Asian Boxing Council) Female Flyweight Title against Numfon in the event staged in the Kumpangpetch province.

The championship was a close contest but Kanistha showed better aggression and landed more effective punches.

Numfon could drop a weight to Light Flyweight and looked smaller than her opponent. But she was able to move around the ring to keep away from Kanistha?s hard body punches.

After 10 hard rounds Kanistha was awarded the championship on points and was loudly applauded for her triumph.
