Thai Retained his WBC Youth Featherweight.
21 Apr 2008
April 11, 2008 at 4.00 pm, Thai Tor Silachai currently Thai Champion successfully retained his WBC Youth Crowd over Mzood Azadi from Iran with TKO Round 6 at 1.48 m. Thai was ahead Azadi almost every round and dropping him down on for count almost the last minute of 5th round. Ref. Sawaeng Thaveekoon decided to stop the contest before the savage defenceless will carry to protect Azadi not too much hurt from his self defense. The promoter also arrange one bout of Female Pro boxing, which Wasana from Khon Kaen won by points to Kaewmorakot at 6 round non title contest.
Thai successfully made his second defense and proof himself that he is ready for any contest in this weight class.
Puengluang Sor singyu also fought under card on the same event and defeat Pichitchoke with many clear punches and clear his way to victory with a solid display on his opponent. Pichichoke is a young talent Muay Thai kick boxer and this fight is the good sign to show that he is not read yet for the proboxing eventhough he fought with big heart and lost by points to Puengluang at 10 round non title contest. Frankly his coach also a bit surprised that he can carry the contest without being knock down.
Nicol Paradorn Gym lost by points to Petchrom Klao Or Ekarin on 6 round non title contest, both contender was very closed fight and very impressive.
The promotion was supervised by Mr. Sirabhop Ratanasuban and draw the crown to Krungthep Boxing Stadium, one of the most standard boxing private stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Anek Hongtongkam was assigned as the supervisor of the fight and he will pass on to me later the full report and will be mail for your reference of the fight probably together with DVD of the fight which the promoter will pass on to me later by next week due to the long holidays of Songkran Traditional Thai New Year (also recognized as Water Festival).
Thanks again for your kind support and will try our best to Expose WBC Youth for more popularity.
I might ask for some support from Gen Kovid to invite Thai for our presentor to bring gifts and toys to visit children and poor sick kids in the hospital in relationship to WB Cares programe.
