Malaysia celebrated a new continental boxing hero last night as Daeloniel McDelon captured the WBC Asia Super-Bantamweight Continental title with a thrilling performance in Negeri Sembilan.

McDelon secured victory via a 5th-round TKO over Thailand’s Natthawat Aiemsuebnum on the action-packed Twins Championship event. The contest was fiercely contested, with both fighters exchanging heavy shots in the early rounds, but McDelon’s persistence and power shone through as he pushed the pace and broke down his Thai opponent.

The decisive moment came in the fifth round when McDelon unleashed a barrage of punches that forced the referee to halt the contest, awarding the Malaysian standout a hard-earned stoppage victory.

This triumph marks a significant milestone in McDelon’s career, bringing pride to Malaysian boxing and adding his second WBC Asia title to his trophy cabinet.
