Thai boxer Kongfah CPF, also known as Jakrawut Majungoen, claimed the WBC Asia Bantamweight championship after defeating South Korea’s Dong Hoon Jang via majority decision at the Petchyindee Boxing Promotion event held on May 6 in Chonburi.

The contest proved to be a competitive and closely contested battle, with both fighters producing spirited performances throughout the championship encounter. Kongfah utilized his movement, sharp counterpunching, and effective body work to edge several key rounds, while Dong Hoon Jang continued to apply pressure and remained dangerous until the final bell.

After ten rounds of action, the judges scored the bout 95-95, 96-94, and 96-94 in favor of the Thai boxer, awarding Kongfah CPF the WBC Asia Bantamweight title by majority decision.

The victory marks an important milestone in the career of Kongfah CPF, adding a prestigious regional championship to his professional résumé and further establishing him as one of Thailand’s rising talents in the bantamweight division.
