Wednesday, August 31, 2022: Showing great skill via excellent boxing, WBC straw weight world champion Panya Pradabsri from Thailand, outclassed and defeated fearless Japanese challenger Norihito Tanaka (20-9, 10 KO), making a successful third defense of his world title in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.
Pradabsri (39-1, 23 KO’s), fighting from mid-range, consistently and accurately landed clusters of punches and combinations on the Japanese warrior.
The scores were wide and unanimous 118-110, 116-112 and 119-110, all in favor of seasoned 31 year old Pradabsri.
This fight was the third world title defense for Pradabsri, who claimed the WBC straw-weight crown in November 2020 by scoring a unanimous decision over legendary Wanheng Menayothin.
The bout was presented by Thailand’s renowned boxing and Muay Thai team, Petchyindee Boxing Promotions (Diamond Boxing).
