March 7, 2025 – The WBC Asian Boxing Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Aku Zhang as its new Vice-President. The appointment was confirmed by WBC Asian Boxing Council President, Major General Thanapol Bhakdibhumi, as part of the organization’s ongoing commitment to strengthening professional boxing across Asia.
Aku Zhang brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the sport, with a strong vision for the continued growth and development of boxing in the region. His leadership will play a key role in expanding opportunities for fighters, enhancing competition standards, and fostering the next generation of champions.
