The World Boxing Council (WBC) China team successfully hosted an intensive three-day WBC Boxing Trainers Course in the beautiful coastal city of Qingdao, China, from July 15–18, bringing together a diverse group of former Olympic champions, experienced coaches, and aspiring trainers committed to furthering their knowledge of the sport.

The educational program was designed to enhance coaching standards, share the latest training methodologies, and reinforce the WBC’s commitment to developing world-class boxing through education. Participants benefited from comprehensive instruction covering technical, tactical, and professional aspects of coaching, while also exchanging valuable experience with fellow trainers from across China.

The course attracted an outstanding group of 23 participants representing different generations of boxing, highlighting the growing strength and enthusiasm for coach education within the Chinese boxing community.
